A beautiful day- sunny, lower 30's and little wind. Yesterday we noticed that the carriage roads had been reopened ( they had been closed to protect the surfaces during spring thaw) for the skiers. We decided to do the loop we had meant to do a couple of days ago.
We started from parking on Rte. 233 and there had been lots of activity so the walking was easy.

Witch Hole Pond
The road along the east side of Witch Hole Pond was the least used and more of a slog but still not too bad.
A very pleasant hike on a beautiful day. We met several skiers and they all stopped to give Kelley a little attention. 2 1/2 hours
No picture of Kelly splashing around in WHP?
ReplyDeleteHi Christopher - there was mostly ice around the shore of the pond or the bank was too steep for her. She did find other places to get into the water.
