Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

8/20/12 City Forest

An easy two hours after yesterdays strenuous hike and I need to freeze some vegetables and do some other garden work. A nice day and there were lots of people and dogs about for Kelley to greet as well as the pond to swim in. Also there were very few deer flies- hopefully their season is over.

  1. Hi John...Yesterdays post might have been a tough one, but fabulous photos ! I like the one of the bark..I thought what a great frustrating gig-saw puzzle it would make : }!
Isn't this weather great, I love it, and I hope the house flies and deer flies are done for this year too!
Thanks for sharing the lovely things along the way with your photos!!

  2. Hi Grace- thanks for your nice comments- I was afraid yesterday was too much for Kelley but she was fine the next morning and ready to go again.

  4. Hi Linda- Thanks, I just wish I was more knowledgeable about them. I have a site where I can submit butterfly and moth pictures for ID but need something like that for all the other bugs.
