7/8/12 Buzzy Brook at Sunkhaze

This was a hike with a blog reader and her dog Gus. Gus seemed to enjoy the hike  as much as Kelley and was very energetic on his short little legs. Gus is keeping and eye on Kelley who is in the water

Have have been experimenting with stitched together panoramic shots. If you click on the picture and then again you will get a large view of the brook and surroundings

                Buzzy Brook pano 7-8-12

We hiked to the brook and then on the way back decide to see if we could follow the south trail- something I have had trouble following in the past. Sure enough  we ended back at the same spot near the brook that we had previously visited. The question marks on the above map indicate a possible route.

The trail was quite wet and there were a fair amount of bugs but the dogs got along very well and it was a pretty day.  We met no one else on the trail and it was very peaceful. A very pleasant hike 3  1/4 hours

  2. Thanks for looking and commenting Grace- it was a beautiful day and, yes we did seem to go in a circle- not the first time I have been off track in there. We didn't see anything other than a few birds.

  3. Gus looks like a nice dog. Seems like Flikr is working out pretty well for you on these panoramas.

  4. Hi John - Yes, Gus was a nice dog and he and Kelley got along well. She really likes other dogs. And the Fliker ( thanks to you) is working well. This is this trial on the blog.
