Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

7/11/12 Marsh Island Natural Area

A pleasant day for a little wandering. Decided to return to the Marsh Island area to check the milkweed and see if there were lots of Monarchs- there were only a couple and much of the milkweed seems to not yet be in full flower. As usual when wandering these confusing trails we ended up in places we didn't intend- like people's backyards. Kelley was able to fine some water so she was happy.  We did find some other nice butterflies.

A pleasant 2 hour walk

    If you show up in my back yard, I'll offer you a glass of iced tea, and Kelley can play with the water hose : }}}

  2. Hi Grace - nothing larger than a butterfly. Thanks for your nice comments.

  3. Watch your back while you're taking those closeups John. Bears eat more than just wild berries. Oh, and don't pack any peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch. (I know you wouldn't).
