3-13-12 Sears Island

Gray day with rain forecast and it felt like we should have an easy day so we headed for Sears Island for an easy walk around the perimeter . No rain and we even got some peeps of sun, so a pretty nice day.

Of course, Kelley immediately got into the water.

And these are some of the other things we saw.

Near the end of the hike we met a nice couple with three very active and friendly dogs and this was good for Kelley. I could not manage to get them all in one picture or to get this picture in focus. The other pictures were poorer.

Turned out to be a nice hike in spite of the rain forecast and it was relaxing as well as enjoyable. 3 hours.

  8. Thanks Jake - You might want to check the tide tables as high tide leaves parts of the shore submerged. We usually do the interior first if the tide is high. And happy birthday!
