Cold ( 10 degrees) but sunny, no wind, and the snow is still beautiful. I wanted an easy day so we just spent an hour and a half on the trails starting from behind the house. Kelley waited patiently while a shoveled the drive ( an inch or so from the day before ) hoping the sun would clean it up.
Taking a break while I take a picture
When we got back I started planning this years garden and what seeds I needed to order. A long way from seed starting but the days are now getting longer again.

My dogs and I walked some snowmobile trails yesterday. They make for a very nice walk.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures in your recent posts, John. I too, am thinking of spring and gardens.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely snowy scenes!
ReplyDeleteHi Casey- yes they do- today we were on closed roads in Acadia that are also used by snowmobilers and provide the same nice footing
ReplyDeleteThanks Christopher- the snow backgrounds open up lots of new possibilities- Planning the garden does help get through the winter
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda- the snow was late this year and we are really appreciating it after all the dreary rain.
