Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

1/7/13 Snowmobile Trails

Cold ( 10 degrees) but sunny, no wind, and the snow is still beautiful. I wanted an easy day so we just spent an hour and a half on the trails starting from behind the house. Kelley waited patiently while a shoveled the drive ( an inch or so from the day before ) hoping the sun would clean it up.

Taking a break while I take a picture

When we got back I started planning this years garden and  what seeds I needed to order. A long way from seed starting but the days are now getting longer again.

  1. My dogs and I walked some snowmobile trails yesterday. They make for a very nice walk.

  3. Hi Casey- yes they do- today we were on closed roads in Acadia that are also used by snowmobilers and provide the same nice footing

  5. Thank you Linda- the snow was late this year and we are really appreciating it after all the dreary rain.
