Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

8/17/15 City Forest

Going to 90 degrees today and neither of us anxious to get out there. Decided to go to the forest so Kelley could have the pond and then walk if she wanted to or not.

She was interested in the pond

She wasn't interested in walking so I just let her have pond time and I took pictures of things around the pond.

Walking back up the hill to the car

Besides hot it was very humid. When we got home we both found shady spots to spend the afternoon. Supposed to be more of the same tomorrow but we will deal with that then.

  3. Hey John--gotta hand it to you--you've gotten me looking through wildflower guides on some of these. That "dandelion" intrigued me---only I knew it wasn't a dandelion because of the stalk. It's a hawkweed. Learned something new---AGAIN! LOL!
Hope your weather cools. We just got over that here--it was awful, but MUCH better now. Have a good day

  4. How nice that she has a watery place close by. I love that interesting and colorful critter on the white flower.
