Another day predicted to get to 90 degrees. The prediction for Acadia is for ten degrees cooler so that's where we headed.
Decided on an out and back along Harbor Brook - water for Kelley and I could time the hike.
The water in the brook is still low
but there were lots of pools for Kelley. I counted today and she got into the water 16 times.
Fall is coming
but insects are still active
too steep
Apple break
and some leaves out over the stream
A good hike. Kelley did well without apparent problems. no bugs, and we had the trail to ourselves. Though cooler it was still very humid and we were glad we got an early start. 1 1/2 hours
