All new and another beautiful day. Awhile back a hiker had told us about a trail that ran from the end of Dynamite Brook Road ( I had to draw it in) to Redmans Beach. We access Catherine and Caribou Mountains from a trailhead on that road (that trail also not on this map) . We waited to try it 'till deer fly season was finished. When we got to the end of the road there were two trails going in the right direction. We chose one and started off. It was an old woods road but much of of was now a single trail that, though not marked, was easy to follow and very pleasant.
There was even a nice stream for Kelley
After about 45 minutes we reached Redmans Beach at Donnell Pond. A couple of the campsites had tents but there were no people around.
We walked along the beach until we came to a stream that emptied into the pond and we turned back the way we had come

Some lichen
That's good that you have some new hiking paths to explore in the future. I like the panorama with stream mouth.
