Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. 1/4/15 Essex Woods

We awoke to 4 or 5 inches of new snow. Kelley was anxious to get out into it but I had two driveways to clear.

Just outside the garage door.

Once the drives were finished we headed to nearby Essex Woods. There was one dog in the dog park but Kelley was not interested and took off toward the old rail bed. No one had been before us and the snow was fluffy

I found lots of nice weeds

Waiting for me to catch up

No one had been on the rail bed either

Pine and more weeds

Heading back

On our way back there were dogs in the dog park and Kelley now wanted to join them. There was quite a variety and only one, Mac, that we knew from before.

A pretty morning with light fluffy snow rather then the heavy stuff of the last couple of storms.

  2. Love the weed photos--- They would be rather nice framed in a group.

    1. Thanks Sue- I like them too and have a slew of them- the snow makes it easy to isolate the plants
