Cold-ten degrees below when we started and 8 degrees below at finish. Another winter weather advisory with snow predicted for the afternoon with wind chills as low as 25 below zero. I went over to check one of the snowmobile trails and the footing was good but it's open and the wind was fierce so we went for the protecting woods of City Forest. We took the West Trail to it's end and along the way met a group of four women skiing and then another woman skiing with her dog. Hardy souls all. We returned via part of Main and Loop Roads and then back to West and didn't meet anyone else until the parking lot. Kelley was quite frisky and seemed to enjoy the hike and meeting the skiers.
I only took one picture- and even for that the camera was very stiff and hard to turn on and off
Although quite cold we had sun and the woods remain pretty. Kelley got her exercise . 1 1/2 hours
You are hardy souls, too! It's really challenging in those temps

DeleteKelley seems unfazed by the cold- I'm finding it a bit chilly.
