10/7/12 Walden and City Forest

Rain predicted again- didn't arrive until night- so nearby seemed good. Cold and a mix of sun and clouds. Lots of water around to make Kelley happy and she found this small pool near the start of our hike.


We did some trails in Walden , the old rail bed and then the West Trail in the Forest and back through Walden to our start.

It had more of a feel of winter  than of  fall. There were still some green leaves but little color and lots of brown leaves on the ground.














 Waiting for me--again


A pretty good 2 and a half hour outing. Kelley met a few other dogs and friendly people and had lots of water to get into.

    I like the picture of him in the water. He seems to be saying "where is the rest of it, how am I supposed to take a swim?"

    Thanks for your comment Ken. She loves the water and takes what she can get but does seem really happy when she can actually swim.
