A perfect day for hiking- upper 60's and sunny. Decided on one of Kelley's favorites - I knew after all the rain the trails would be soggy but I was resigned to wet feet and Kelley didn't mind at all. We took the Friends Path down to the pond.

We followed the trail on the west side of the pond until it connected with the Jordan Stream Trail
The stream was high, with water over the banks in some spots, which meant a little work around for me and no problem for Kelley.
At the Cobblestone Bridge we took carriage roads to the Asticou and that to the Harbor Brook Trail. Once again lots of water for Kelley to enjoy
There is about a 10 minute walk on Rte. 3 from the Harbor Brook trail head back to where we were parked and I found these in someones yard.
A nice hike. We saw some people at the bridge on one of the horse drawn carriage tours but met no one on any of the trails. Kelley seemed enthusiastic and did not exhibit any problems. 3 1/4 hours
Such colorful pictures for fall. Love it!
