5/31/12 City Forest

Another gray day with rain predicted. I also still have work to be done preparing the garden. City Forest for two hours ( near the end of our hike the sun came out). All the rain has resulted in  a lot of mosquitoes and there was little breeze. Every time I stopped to take a picture I was engulfed with them even though I had sprayed myself with bug dope- so not a lot of pictures. Kelley was happy with water everywhere and we met several friendly people and three other dogs.

    Those are unusual markings on that first insect/bug. I hear that mosquitoes are much worse this year due to the mild winter.
