Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

3/28/15 Downtown.

Thirty degrees, gray and windy. Looking for something easy so we went downtown for what turned out to be a short walk. Kelley just wanted to sniff everything and though I let her pick the route it was not long before we were back at the car.  We both need some spring weather.

The Kenduskeag Stream

The annual race is only 20 days  away. http://www.kenduskeagstreamcanoerace.com/info/

  1. I don't think they'll be racing any canoes in that river!
Gorgeous, sunny weather today---1 to 3" snow tomorrow and winds 25-35. It sounds like a cookie baking day.
    Have a great weekend

    1. Hi Sue- It's the largest race in Maine and one of the largest in the country. Last year the water was very low and canoes had to be pulled by hand through some sections. You have a nice week end too- I think your cookie idea is right

  2. All open water here at the lake house. We took a walk along the shoreline today. Still cold out, but no snow. Enjoy your weekend.

  3. Sometimes, spring takes it's time to show up which doesn't make for great walks. Hopefully, you won't have to wait much longer :) I do hope the next 20 days brings some melting weather!
