8/7/11 Walden Parke

Another rainy day so when there was a break we went over to Walden ( just 4 miles from home) for an hour and a quarter walk ( it began to rain again just after we returned to the car). Kelley seemed to be doing well this morning, having recovered from yesterdays hike.

    Any idea who owns the property outside of the "property lines"? That's a curious shape for the preserve property.

    Don't know his name off hand but he donated the preserve land and the plan is that more will be developed. The City Forest and another preserve also abut along the old railroad bed.
