12/14/09 Little Long Pond Area

Sunny and a little warmer with less wind but we had a bit of rain last night and lost some of our snow. We made up our own loop to take in some sections we had not done. We started at Little Long Pond and traveled north ( this first section has some dense pretty woods)through 33,32,24,and 27 to 31. Most of these carriage roads are on private property but can be used by the public with some restrictions (no bikes). We had planned to go on to 35 but access was denied beyond 31 so we went up to 30, 29,25 and then down to 35 and back to the car. 2 1/2 hours. A nice day

    I'm guessing that all those streams and lakes will be frozen solid before long.
