Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

2/9/16 Trail Along The Kenduskeag

Teens, cloudy, light snow. We got about 4 inches overnight so first task was to clear the drive. This trail usually works for us, and is very close to home in case it doesn't.

We found no one had  been on the trail this morning but it had been used after the heavier snow a couple of days ago and the snow was fluffy and walking was not bad for either of us.

Fresh snow gives me nice clean backgrounds for my things in snow pictures.

After a bit a couple on a snowmobile came onto the trail from a side trail. They stopped and got off their sled to give Kelley some attention and that pleased her.

The stream is still not frozen all the way across.

This was near where we turned and headed back.

Sharp turn - one you would not want to miss.

Pretty good hike. The woods were pretty and we saw no one other than the one couple. There was no wind so it did not feel as cold as it was.  Kelley was enthusiastic and did well.  1  1/2 hours
