Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

8/12/13 City Forest

Time to catch up on the garden work so it was to nearby City Forest for two hours. Kelley likes this hike because there is water and we usually meet other dogs and people. Today she met her friend Kyria. The temperature was near perfect and there were only a few deer flies near the end of the West Trail and start of the old rail bed.

A few of the things we saw

Clover

Viceroy

 Wasp - I believe

White Admiral

Pale Touch-me-not

    1. Thank you Grace- The butterflies have been kind of spotty this year for me- maybe the weird summer we have had?
