Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

9/15/15 Perch Pond

Going to warm up so we got an early start. The woods still look like it's summer

The work of a snail or a slug ?

We met a nice woman with four dogs and chatted with her about trails to hike with dogs.

Then on to the small pond.

When we got to Perch Pond, Kelley got excited and jumped into where she had a hard time getting out

I didn't take many pictures today but we enjoyed the hike. Kelley is leading us back up the trail.

Kelley did well today: she was enthusiastic and seemed to have no problems.            2  1/4 hours

  1. That's a long walk today, John. I'm so glad Kelley (and you) are getting out so much. It does the soul good. The 'slug track' shot is really cool! I often wonder how they leave only bits of trail.

    1. Thanks Betty - I'm still trying to determine the right length of hike for Kelley. Maybe the slug just had it's fill ??
