Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

5/12/14 City Forest ( and my lawn )

Kelley had seemed  a little creaky last night ( me too )  after yesterday's hike and I'm still behind with the garden so a short hour and a quarter at the forest. We parked at the end of Kittredge and walked the West to a side trail, over to the rail bed for a bit and then back.

A nice lichen

Kelley bring up the rear

She got in the beaver pond twice at the start of the hike and again at the end.

Once again, we found no wild flowers but when I did the lawn there were patches of these tiny flowers- some with a blue tint and some white- I don't know what they are but they appear each spring.

and, of course, dandelions

I worked in the garden the rest if the afternoon and Kelley watched me or slept.

    1. Thanks Linda- I may be reaching a saturation point with Kelley in the water pictures.
