Another gray day in the 40's with some sprinkles. So it was nearby Essex Woods for a walk.
Most of the leaves are on the ground
but not all.
We hadn't been here in awhile so there was lots to check out
The wetlands
Kelley, of course, got in but needed to look for a way out
There seem to be a lot of fungi all of a sudden.
Milkweed about to burst
and at the end a tree with most of it's leaves
Not a very nice day and Kelley was ready to stop after 45 min. so we did. We met a couple of people with dogs and that pleased her and we got a bit of exercise.

ReplyDeleteLove the shot of the leafy branch on the fallen leaves. Came home to a yard full of leaves--which I suppose means work (or compost!!!) Haha

Hi Sue - thanks and good day to you too - I'm lazy and just leave on the ground and mulch with lawn mower in spring
