7/5/16 Kenduskeag Stream

Yesterday was hot and today was more of the same. Couldn't get an early start because I had to wait on a delivery, so we just went to the Kenduskeag ( 2 miles from home).

The water was really low but still good for Kelley

We walked a very short distance and Kelley sat down to let me know she wasn't interested in going further.

I wasn't very enthusiastic either so we just turned back and she got back in the water.

I was looking for flowers or other subjects along the bank and looked up and she was near the car waiting on me. One daisy and I gave up and we headed home.

Supposed to rain tomorrow so I was disappointed we didn't get in a good walk today. The weather man is often wrong.

  1. I can relate to the lack of enthusiasm for anything on a hot day. The bugs yesterday here were so ferocious I was glad to get back home from my walk. Summer. Bah!

    1. Hi Sue- Hot again today but we got out early - lots of deer flies on the tote rd. but once in the woods they were gone. So, all in all not bad - supposed to cool down for the rest of the week but possibly rain.

  4. Kelley got a swim so all was not lost! The weatherman is the only guy who can be wrong all the time and still keep his job :)

    1. Yes, the water was for her. The weathermen here seem to be particularly bad .. and they do just keep going.
