Big change in the weather - upper 50's with light drizzle and rain to come along with a rainy weekend so wanted to get one in this morning. There were a few deer flies and mosquitoes but not too bad.
We first went to the beaver pond.
Found this leaf on the way
Kelley was, of course, happy with the pond
Very briefly the sky lightened and it looked as if the sun might come out
But it just darkened and continued with the light mist. We then did the loop but there are no pictures because I managed to get everything out of focus. Mind on another problem rather than being in the woods. Kelley was there and did well. Not our best effort but we got some exercise. 1 1/2 hours
Looks like something took some little nibbles on that leaf. I have that in my garden---a LOT!
ReplyDeleteWe had a big cooldown as well-what a relief. I needed a break from the bugs. I think they were half frozen. Ha!

Hi Sue - Me too in the garden - still rainy and cool but we have a stretch of upper 80's and even a a 94 predicted
