Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

7/12/16 Harbor Brook

Hot weather continues so we got an early start ( lower 70's) and headed for the coast where it's usually a few degrees cooler. We also chose Harbor Brook  for Kelley. We usually do this as part of a loop but today did it as an out and back so she would have water the whole hike. The trail is mostly right on the bank of the stream.

Near the start of the trail.

Kelley was in and out of the water a lot- more than 25 times.
Fortunately a few of those pictures came out OK

I took a lot of pictures but most were not usable. I'm beginning to think there may be a problem with the camera rather than me. Other than the picture problem the hike went well. Kelley did very well and was enthusiastic. We met no one and had the place to ourselves. The hike took longer than usual because of all the in and out of water and there were spots where I had to wait for Kelley to find a way out- she usually checks more carefully to see that she can get out. 2  1/2 hours . Upper 80's  by the time we got home.

  1. Interesting branch in that last photo.
Do you have a camera shop that services in your area? Might be worth a check to see if there is a problem.

    1. Hi Sue - actually a part of a large tree - I am going to try some tests first- we don't have a camera shop
