Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. 10/10/15 Little Long Pond

Rained all day yesterday so we just did a short walk around the hood. This morning is sunny but cold ( 40's) and windy.

Down the Friends Path to the pond and in.

Along the West Side trail
l

and then the Jordan Stream trail

At the Cobblestone Bridge we turned south along the east side of the pond. There were a surprising number of people and dogs on this section and we had to greet them all. Along with some chatting this made this section take longer than usual.

These ferns looked like a giant bouquet

From the south end

Tiny tree ( 1/2 inch) in a knot hole

There is a small stream a couple of hundred feet from where we are parked and Kelley always get nice and wet just before she gets in the car.

A pretty good outing - much of the time we were in woods protected from the wind. Kelley was enthusiastic and energetic for the first hour and a half but then slowed down - just a bit too long for her.  2  1/2 hours  Tomorrow we will have a rest day.
