Another beautiful day but I really have to work on the garden so it's the nearby forest. We started from the end of Kittredge Rd. so Kelley would have the pond at each end but then followed our usual route. We met a couple of people with dogs but mostly runners and bikers and they tend to not stop and greet Kelley which disappoints her. It was sunny but with lots of periods of light overcast which was good for pictures.
Saw several butterflies but none would let me get close enough to photograph until this tiger swallowtail near the end by the beaver pond- not the best background but....
A nice hike on a pretty day- still lots of water around for Kelley and very few bugs- which I don't understand but am grateful for. 2 hours
Those ladyslippers are cool flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda - I find them difficult to photograph - I think they are difficult to isolate
