We parked at the end of Schooner Head Rd. entered the park and turned right onto the closed and not plowed section of road. There had been snow mobile activity but because of slightly above freezing temps the snow was soft and a bit of a slog in some sections. We walked to the Kebo Rd. entrance and then turned back. Kelley was enjoying being off leash and we met two skiers each of whom stopped to greet her. Kelley spotted an unmarked trail she wanted to take which I thought might be Hemlock Rd. This section is not at all road-like but a quite narrow and pretty trail. We followed it to where it intersects the Jesup Path (it does widen after that) and then returned to the loop road and back to the car. All in all a nice walk. 3 hours

Kelley looks right at home in the snow. That Hemlock Road section is interesting (with the rows of trees close on each side.)
ReplyDeleteKelley has been really happy about the snow.
