Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

7/9/15 City Forest

Supposed to get into the 80's again so we went early to the forest. Kelley was not enthusiastic, lagging behind, and we just did part of the West Trail and turned around. She then took the lead. She was, however,  happy to meet some people and a couple of dogs.

The beaver pond is lower and the plants seem to be proliferating

I found a couple of flowers while she was in the pond.

Brown Eyed Susan

Vetch among some ferns

Another spot she always stops at.

So, just a little over an hour but we did get a little exercise.

  1. I chuckle----you have the same problem we have here in Michigan. We actually get out more in the winter than in the summer. Between the heat and bugs, UGH.
Love that vetch. We have tons of it here....makes for a beautiful sight when there's a field of it.
