Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

6/12/11 Downtown Bangor

A gray rainy day so we stayed home and when there was a break in the rain went downtown. The light did not seem good at the time but seems to have resulted in some very nice color.

Two versions of the same shot

I was happy with the pictures I got and Kelley was glad to be out. She got to pick some of the turns as we rambled and we were on unfamiliar streets so there were new smells too.

  1. The flowers are great...lovely rich colors. Pic #5 looks like polished marble (which resembles tree roots), and pic #8 is just strange...reminds me of some Lee Friedlander work...(I like it). "...new smells" indeed.

  2. Hi John - Thanks for looking and for commenting.#5 is not polished but just a bolder marking edge of roadway.
