Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

6/17/15 Dover-Foxcroft

Yesterday was rainy and we just walked around the neighborhood. Today we went to Dover- Foxcroft to walk a section of snowmobile trail we had never done in summer. Starting from the Irving on Rt. 15 the first bit is open and there were some flowers.

and my first butterfly this year

Wild iris

It was supposed to be sunny but was mostly overcast

A daisy

and a spent dandelion

One of the streams we crossed

We managed to scramble down the bank so Kelley could get in.

On the way back we got some sun.

A pleasant hike. Kelley seemed to do well. 2  1/2 hours
