6/18/16 Essex Woods

Beautiful sunny day. Went to nearby Essex Woods and Kelley did much better. I think she is bored with City Forest - except for the beaver pond

Lots of wildflowers today.

And some muddy water for Kelley

This is a section of the same railbed shown in the Newman Hill-Hinds post but several miles away

Back in the muddy water

First damselfly- it didn't give me much of a background and I couldn't get close but here it is

A pretty good little hike - Kelley was happy to meet people and another dog. 1  1/4 hours

  1. Wow! You found some great summer color and the damsel fly is so lovely! I guess Kelley doesn't care how clean the water is :)

    1. Thanks Betty -Kelley likes any water - liquid mud sometimes does just fine.

    1. Thanks Sue - no, that was it - when I'm lucky there is clean water near end of hike
