6/4/17 City Forest

Rain predicted again so we went to nearby City Forest to try to get a walk in before the rain.

Things were still wet from the last showers

But all the rain has made everything green and lush

About done

 Lots of water everywhere

I think the largest pine buds I have seen

Flowering tree or bush

When we got to the beaver pond Kelley was happy

There were lots of butter cups near the pond

Looking a little bedraggled

Back in a ditch on the way back

Kelley was not enthusiastic to start but did ok once we got moving. A pleasant little walk in the woods.

  1. I love the greenery that rain brings (and it fills the ponds for Kelley to swim)

    1. Yes- seemed spring would never get here - deep enough water to swim instead of wade

    1. Yes, One of the nice things about this area is the many nearby places to walk or hike.
