I didn't feel like driving so we just went over to Walden for two hours of trail wandering. A cold start but it warmed, bright sun, and much less windy than it has been. There was a sheet of thin ice on the ponds and pools and Kelley did not care for it. She would touch it tentatively with her paw and then break through some at the edge but did not get into the water. When she went through shallow puddles on the trail she would be startled when the ice broke and then move off to the side.
Most of the trees have lost their leaves and it's looking more like November though I did see a butterfly.
