Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. Please use the search function ( upper left) to find older posts which have more detailed trail descriptions and pictures. You can also use this to find specific hikes either by trail or mountain.

4/6/11 Norumbega Mountain

A very nice day- low 40's and mostly sunny. The trail was mostly clear with some stretches of snow and of water. We hiked from the end of Hadlock Pond Rd. to a bit beyond the summit where the Goat Trail heads down the mountain and then retraced our route back.

Tried to get a picture of Kelley at the summit cairn but , as usual, she was not into posing.

  1. Those pictures make one feel like he's on the top of the world. Kelley is adorable: spooky eyes, long tongue and the reddish fur shows well.

  2. Thanks for commenting, John. It does feel that you are the top of the world-quite a payoff for relatively little effort
