4/29/11 Gorham and the Ocean Path

A beautiful sunny day with temps around 70. The reward for making it through another Maine winter. We decide that the loop from Sand Beach to Gorham and back on the Ocean Path would be not too muddy. We also did a small detour to the Bowl so Kelley could have a real swim. She was happy about that and all the other water she was able to get into. We met lots of friendly people ( everyone was taking advantage of the day) and a couple of dogs.

When we got back to Sand Beach where we had parked we went down to the beach. Kelley like to run on it but does not like the waves. There is, however, a freshwater stream that runs into the ocean and she swam in that.

A really nice day. 2-3/4 hours

  1. Nice. I really like the Maine coast.

Can't get over how red Kelley's fur looks sometimes...and how black other times.

  2. Thanks. It's a beautiful place. Kelley's coat looks different depending on the light, wet or dry, etc. Inside she mostly looks chocolate brown.

  3. Lovely indeed. Kelley looks like a pup in that photo where she's sitting =)

  4. Thanks, Hendrik. Kelley is not yet 4 and still has some of the pup in her.
