Finding Trail Descriptions

So as not to repeat myself excessively, I am reducing the amount of description of trails that have already been posted. 4/1/18 Newman Hill

Forty degrees and cloudy. Kelley has not wanted to hike and I haven't pushed it because of poor conditions - snow too deep for her and/or ice. Today I made her get out of the car and we did a short hike.

Some open water near the start but not that Kelley could reach.

Still snow and ice on the trails but the footing was not bad

Unfortunately the small pond was still frozen

and Kelley was very disappointed

Going back into the woods there was more snow.

Kelley did not want to continue so we turned back - enough for a start after a long layoff.

  1. Still a good amount of snow/ice although it’s starting to melt fast. We drove up to Bingham yesterday and Wyman lake was completely frozen still. It was a beautiful sunny day in the 50s. It was a nice drive along the Kennebec

  3. It's really great to see Kelley out and about! The snow that we still have is very hard for our pups to walk through. We are dog sitting a 13 year old lab for 3 months..one of our pups that we raised when she was a pup..and she's having a awful time trying to get through it..but soon it will all be gone..i'll be so happy to see that!
