12/28/15 DeMeritt Forest


Mostly sunny but 18 degrees and we got a little bit of snow




The first few places Kelley usually gets in the water had ice - not thick  but she doesn't like it . She then caught the scent of someone up ahead and got excited and headed for them. A nice man and his dog Hank. Kelley and Hank became friends.










One of the side trails looked OK


but turned out to be pretty wet


The next trail wa drier


Cold but nice hike, Kelley was very enthusiastic from the start but really seemed to enjoy Hank and his owner and, of course , the snow. 1  1/2 hours

    Yay for snow! Can you believe this weather? ! I know it's been warm there. It's all over the country really. We have been in the 60s and even 70! Thanks to El Niño . Hank and Kelly look so cute playing.

      Hi Serafina - the weather has been very weird - Kelley and Hank seemed to hit it off right away.
