Gray, foggy, forties, and rain predicted. We picked nearby Perch Pond.
The small pond had a thin coating of ice.
which Kelley did not like and stayed right next to shore
The trails were very wintery looking but without snow
The big pond was not frozen but had ice along the shore
Kelley wouldn't cross the ice so I cleared away a bit and she was able to get in the water
Reflection in a pool on the way back
Not a bad hike in spite of the dreary weather. Kelley seemed happy, except for the ice, and did well. 1 1/2 hours
I have enjoyed your photos and learning about your part of the world this year. I look forward to more in the new year. Merry Christmas to you and Kelley!
