5/20/14 City Forest

Rained all day yesterday and we just walked around the neighborhood and got wet. This morning we woke to more rain but when it became very light we went to the forest to get in a walk. By the time we got there the rain had stopped. Kelley was pleased to be in the woods , besides the beaver pond and the marsh there were pools of water everywhere and she took advantage of most of them. We also met one of her dog friends and three other people. We just walked the West Trail to the rail bed and took that to a side trail and that back to West. I didn't do well with the camera today but here are a few things we saw and one of Kelley in the beaver pond.












We managed to get in two hours without rain and when we got home I even got a little work done in the garden before the rain started again. More in the forecast but we are just going to hike and get wet.

      Thanks KIm- Kelley has to have the exercise because of her arthritic knees.
