5/15/14 Marsh Island


Late start because of other obligations. Around 60 and gray. Last time we were here we ended up in an area that was being developed and we wanted to avoid that today. There were some new blazes from the start and we followed those after Kelley  got a swim in the pond . The route was a bit different but did avoid the work area. We followed this route until we were back on familiar trails and took those to the river and then back. There are signs of spring.

We met only one other person, but she made Kelley happy. There was also water and this was an easy hike. Not bad for a dreary day. 2 hours
