Back to the Beaver Pond at City Forest. Kelley was not excited about hiking but was willing to go to the beaver pond. So, a few pictures of Kelley in the water and some flowers and bugs
A tiny hoverfly
More chicory
First time in
More of an endless series of Queen Anne's Lace
One I don't I know
Thistle
We started on West Trail but didn't get far before Kelley would not proceed.
Back to the pond
Another unknown
One last dip
A pleasant little outing even though Kelley was not really interested in hiking.

Nice flower photos!

DeleteChicory and Queen Ann's Lace has always been my favorite combo. We had gobs of them in Illinois along every country road.
ReplyDeleteThough we have both here in Michigan, it doesn't seem to be as abundant.
Great photos, John.
Glad to see Kelley is still getting around. (and you too!)
Have a great weekend
Thanks for your comment Sue. I really like Chicory and QAL too. Port Huron had a chicory roasting plant when I was growing up.
