Very nice day - 70's, sun and clouds, few bugs. Kelley was Ok to get in the car to go but was moving leisurely once we got started so I decided to let her set the pace and not go too far.
Reservoir one from the parking lot
First place Kelley can get in
and a view from there
A little further along she got in at a more difficult spot and is looking for a way out.
Near the only road on the trail is an open field - I have photographed this tree in all seasons - this the least interesting.
Milkweed about to open
Reservoir Two
Not far along this section of the trail we met a nice couple and their dog and had a chat about the trails and our dogs. Chris knew reiki and she gave Kelley a treatment which Kelley seemed to like. I decided this was a good point to turn around and we headed back
Another swim
Another section of reservoir two
Kelley managed to find a mud puddle and came out a mess
but I knew she would get clean near the end of the hike and before the car.
Pretty good hike that took 2 hours - longer than usual because of our pace and the long chat.
Lots of water for Kelley on this trail!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda - yes, it's right next to water until it turns inland after where we turned around
