8/6/15 DeMeritt Forest


Mostly sunny and 70. A pretty morning.

Start of the hike


Due to the rain there were muddy spots for Kelley






Not many flowers about today but there were also few deer flies and they were much easier to dispense with. I hope this means they are near the end for this year






Kelley seemed OK today and my goal was an hour and a half - still trying to find the right amount of activity for her. After our loop through the woods we went across the road and down to the Stillwater





This is a little cove like body off the main stream


A nice outing. Kelley got water and we met a couple of runners who gave her some attention.
