A cold start ( 13 degrees ) but sunny and no wind so it turned out to be comfortable. We are still concerned about icy trails so this turned out to be a lucky guess- packed snow with a frozen crust that was very easy walking. We started from the Medford end because it is more interesting and further from roads.

Patiently waiting -- again.
Turned out to be a beautiful day- amazing blue skies and not a cloud in sight. No water kelley could get to but she seemed to enjoy being where we hadn't been in awhile. 3 1/4 hours
You two had a real long hike today. Wow-those skies are so brilliant.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue- maybe a bit too long for Kelley- she seemed a bit stiff last night ( we had an easy day today) because the walking was so easy we walked farther than we normally would in the same amount of time.
