12/8/10 Carriage Roads With Snow
The plan was to hike the Canon Brook Trail but when we got to the park there was more snow than we had anticipated. Decided the safer course would be some of the carriage roads and we chose to start out near Little Long Pond. It was a mostly gray day with light snow at times and near the end, the sun trying to come out. Kelley loves the snow and ran ahead ( she was able to be off leash) and then back and then out again. She did this more than she has ever done in the past and, I think, for the pure joy of it. The beautiful snow and Kelley's exuberance made this a memorable hike.

Nice pics. Christmas card scenes!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Bah humbug.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are beautiful. I'll never look at the stone rock walls the same way again. I didn't realize they had so many colors. It's true, a picture is worth a thousand words.
