A nice day ( sunny and mid 70's) after several of mixed sun, clouds, rain, and drizzle. Drove over because this is one of Kelley's favorite hikes.
Obligatory shot of the pond
and Kelley in it
A bit windy for flower pics but I got these blackberries
and a wild iris
This was more mud than water
but a chance to rinse off in Jordan Stream
We met people and dogs but Kelley wasn't as excited by this as usual. She did well, though on the slow side so it took us almost two hours.Still a nice outing.
The iris sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Linda
DeleteIt looks like a nice day for a leisurely walk.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim- yes, it was one of the best days we've had recently
DeleteEveryday I read your blog and I just love all the pictures. It always looks so fresh and clean in Maine. The sky is bluer there. My husband says Maine is the cleanest sate he's ever lived in. Glad to see everyone there cares about the environment they live in. I understand it's one of the reasons there are so many taxes to keep it that way? We just can't wait to move there!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Serafina - I think having fewer people helps too.
DeleteTrue, lol
