11/1/11 Goose Ridge Redux



Sunny and cold - a beautiful day for a hike. We returned to Goose Ridge to see if I left a lens hood at a spot we had our snack yesterday ( it was not there and may have been lost the day before as I don't remember it yesterday). This time we started from Penny Road. This was a nice trail too but for the minor issue of having to leave the woods twice near the start and walk a short distance on this easement before returning to the woods.



After that it was really pretty - a mixture of fall and winter as there was still fairly deep snow ( it's almost gone at home) while lots of trees still have leaves attached. Kelley was again happy with the snow and seems to continue to hike without the problems she was having.



















A nice hike in spite of not finding the lens hood 2 3/4 hours
