8/20/15 City Forest

Cooler today so we stayed in town. Decided on an easy day for Kelley and we headed for the forest.

First stop the beaver pond





Then a short walk in the woods - only one of the small pools she uses still had any water. Rain is predicted for the next few days and would be welcome.

Some things we saw.














Kelley stopped a couple of times which I took to mean she had enough so we headed back to the pond before heading back up the hill.






Short but pleasant.

    Nice close up of the bee! And I always enjoy pics of Kelley swimming. :)

    Those mottled leaves look to be a reminder of the coming months. Personally, I'm glad. This summer has been too hot and buggy.
