Beautiful sunny day in the 70's . Since I had decided to try shorter hikes for Kelley, we started at the entrance on the road and started across the bottom of the pond.

The water is low here too and, as you can see. with a muddy bottom.
As we crossed the meadow section of the West Side Trail we met a couple with two labs - a black and a yellow and talked with them a bit as the dogs swam. I later wished I had taken a picture of the three of them.
There are still a good number of water lilies
On the east side of the pond Kelley had more people and dogs to greet, which made her happy.
One last swim. This spot has a sandy bottom.
A very pleasant outing. Don't know why I took so few pictures. 1 1/2 hours
